Brow & Forehead Lift

What is a Brow & Forehead Lift?

A brow and forehead lift is a facial rejuvenation procedure designed to raise the brow line, reduce deep forehead lines, and open up the upper face, creating a more relaxed, youthful expression.

Over time, the brow can descend, causing a tired, angry, or sad appearance. This procedure gently lifts and repositions the brow while smoothing horizontal creases and frown lines between the eyebrows. The result? A brighter, more approachable look that still feels authentically you.

Understanding Your Options

The brow area plays a major role in your overall expression. A drooping brow can unintentionally convey stress, fatigue, or tension—even when you’re feeling your best. We tailor every brow lift to complement your natural features, helping you determine the best approach to achieve balanced, age-appropriate results.

Lateral Brow Lift

Targets the outer brow and temples, offering a subtle lift that enhances eye openness without altering the central forehead.

Full Forehead Lift

Lifts the entire brow and smooths horizontal forehead lines, offering more dramatic rejuvenation when deeper creases are present.

Combined With Eyelid Surgery

A popular approach that addresses sagging lids and low brows simultaneously for a comprehensive upper-face refresh.

What to Expect During Surgery

Brow and forehead lift procedures are typically performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, depending on the complexity of your treatment plan.

Your surgeon will make small, well-concealed incisions, often hidden within the hairline or natural forehead creases. Using specialized techniques, the underlying brow tissues are gently lifted and secured into a more youthful position. Excess skin may be removed to smooth lines and prevent drooping.

The procedure usually lasts about 2 hours and is performed on an outpatient basis, meaning you’ll return home the same day with post-op guidance and support from our dedicated team.

Recovery Timeline

  • Week 1:
Swelling, mild bruising, and tightness are expected. Cold compresses and head elevation help ease discomfort. Most patients return to light activities in a few days.
  • Week 2:
Swelling subsides significantly. You may feel comfortable resuming non-strenuous work and social activities. Stitches (if not dissolvable) are removed.
  • Weeks 3-4:
Final results begin to emerge as bruising resolves. Most restrictions are lifted. Patients report looking more rested and vibrant.
